From the beginning, the mission behind the Rockwall Education Foundation has been realized through our Innovative Classroom Grants. These grants transform the passion and creativity of our amazing Rockwall ISD teachers into life-changing learning experiences for our students.
Over the years, we have provided nearly $650,000 across 377 grants, some sparking change with just a few hundred dollars, some a few thousand. We are proud of how much money we have been able to raise, but at the end of the day, we do not measure success in dollars, but rather in lives impacted and opportunities created:

PRIZE PATROL
All Aboard the #REFExpress
When RISD teachers receive an innovative teaching grant from REF, we don't just mail a check, we show up loud and proud. Each Fall, the #REFExpress hits the road and travels campus to campus to personally deliver grants and celebrate the educators who are pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the classroom.
